Lighthouse hosted a virtual Rent Party live-stream on Saturday, August 29th at the\u00a0former Stanley Kresge estate, renovated by Paddy Lynch.<\/p>\n<p>The one-hour live-stream featured music by Mike Jellick and a special tap performance by Claudia\u00a0Rahardjanoto.<\/p>\n<p>You can re-watch the entire performance\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=3101702973289160\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To date, The Rent Party has helped raise more than $200,000 to provide emergency shelter, rental assistance, follow-up care and other programs for our neighbors in need.\u00a0The idea behind the Rent Party stems from an historic tradition dating back to the 1920\u2019s in Harlem when people hosted parties in their homes to raise money for rent.
